Ahhh, The Holiday's.

Remember when you were a kid and the holidays were just easy, exciting, fun, and full of surprises? Now that we are all grown up it all shifts, you are trying so hard to give all of that to your own children and yet somehow, you loose those feelings for yourself. Maybe this year we should not try so hard and just enjoy the fun and excitement of Christmas. And maybe we should step back from all the crazy, stupid commercialized part of the "holidays" and enjoy the true meaning of Christmas. And to me that means, Christ, family, love, joy, hope, giving, and sharing. I hope I can give all of this and more to my family and friends. Love you all..... Amy.

Trip to California!!

We had the best time in California!!!! We didn't want to come back to Utah.
We went to Disneyland, Sea World and our old beach, New Port. I really wish we could have just sent for our stuff and dogs and stayed in California. The kids loved everything, I think we could have spent another day at Sea World, 2 more days at Disneyland and 10 more days at the beach. I can't believe how daring they all are, the kids went on every ride, even Amanda, (except the ones she wasn't tall enough for). Grandma and Grandpa Schultz went with us and we all loved it. It was so much fun, they also went on every ride, except for the ones that Amanda wasn't tall enough for.... We are so lucky to be able to go to California as a family and have my parents go was just amazing. Thanks Mom and Dad we are so glad you came with us....
Anyway we are home and back to church, work, school, dance, karate and everything else that goes along with real life. But we could move back to California and do all that and have the beach too......

AAHHH, 5 seconds!

WOW it has been a while, sorry. This working thing is really hard to get used to. Everything is good, the kids love school, I love work (although after not working out of the house for so long, it is a big adjustment).. This past weekend the whole family went to the first U of U football home game. Dave and I have had season tickets for the last 4 years and the games are so fun, but it was the first time we were able to take the three kids. It was so much fun to have them all with us. Amanda had never been to a game before, she was so excited that the second she woke up on Saturday morning she put on her University of Utah sweatshirt. Although the game wasn't until 6:00 P.M. she would not take it off. My parents loved having the kids with us also, Grandma and Grandpa got a kick out of watching the girls cheer (scream) and seeing how Jacob is so into the game just like his Dad. GO UTES!
Well that is all the exciting news for now. I hope everyone is doing great, MISS YOU ALL!!!!

First Day of School

It was the first day of school on Wednesday. We are at the brand new St. Andrew's Catholic Elementary School. I am teaching Pre-K, computers and PE. The school is just beautiful and amazing. The kids love the new school and have made allot of new friends. I love that they have to wear uniforms and they look so dang cute in them. The first day Sara was not excited because she was not frilly enough but we added the big bow, plus she was much better when she got to school and everyone was in the same thing. I love the whole staff, we are so lucky to have such a great group of teachers, staff, Father Francisco and our principle Sr. Karla is amazing, she has pulled a rabbit out of the hat several times.
Well thought I would update you all, hope everyone is great. Miss you!
